Learning terms — Ultiblob Learning

Ultiblob Learning Terms of Purchase and Use Version 1 — effective 31 October 2026 These terms are between you and Ultiblob Inc. ("Ultiblob", "we"), a company based in DeSoto, Texas, United States, and they govern your purchase and use of courses, career paths, hosted labs and certificates offered at lab.ultiblob.com ("Ultiblob Learning"). The Ultiblob website terms of use and privacy notice at www.ultiblob.com also apply; where they differ about Ultiblob Learning, these terms win. 1. Your account 1.1 You need one account, created with our identity provider, to buy and to learn. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. 1.2 Accounts are personal. One person, one account. Sharing an account, or using a lab on behalf of someone else, ends your access without refund. 1.3 You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for you. 2. What you buy 2.1 A career path is a fixed set of courses in a stated order. One payment opens every course in that path. Courses are not sold separately unless the catalogue says otherwise. 2.2 Access to a purchased path lasts 12 months from the date of purchase and does not renew automatically. 2.3 The price, the courses included, which courses include a hosted lab, and the refund terms are shown on the path page and again on the review page before you pay. What you see there at the moment of purchase is what you bought; we may change the catalogue for future buyers without changing yours. 2.4 Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. 3. Hosted labs 3.1 Some courses provision real virtual machines for you on Ultiblob's private cloud for a stated access window. You may launch, reset and release them from the course page while your access lasts. 3.2 Lab machines are for the course exercises. You may not use them to attack, scan or disrupt anything outside your own lab, to mine cryptocurrency, to send unsolicited mail, to store or distribute unlawful or infringing material, or to run anything for a third party. We may stop and destroy a lab that breaks this rule, and may end your access. 3.3 Labs are destroyed when you release them, when their window ends, or when your access ends. Anything you leave on a lab machine is gone when it is destroyed. Save your work. 3.4 Labs are isolated from other learners and from Ultiblob systems. Do not try to reach anything outside your lab network from inside it. 4. Refunds 4.1 You may ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not launched a hosted lab in the path and have completed no more than 20% of its lessons. Once a lab has been launched, or more than 20% of the lessons are complete, the purchase is non-refundable. 4.2 Refunds go back to the payment method used. Ultiblob may make an exception in your favour at its discretion; an exception for one person is not a promise to another. 4.3 If Ultiblob withdraws a path you bought before your 12 months end and offers no equivalent, you get a pro-rated refund for the time left. 5. Certificates and what they mean 5.1 When a course's requirements are met, Ultiblob issues a Certificate of Completion with a serial number that anyone can verify at lab.ultiblob.com/certificates/verify. 5.2 A certificate records what you completed here. It is not an industry certification, not accredited by any body, and not a licence. 5.3 Ultiblob may revoke a certificate obtained by cheating, by sharing an account, or by passing checks through means other than doing the work. 6. What we do not promise 6.1 We teach and we let you practise. We do not promise you a job, a salary, an interview or an introduction to an employer. 6.2 We do not promise that a path is complete for any particular job, exam or employer's requirement. 6.3 We aim to keep Ultiblob Learning available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Hosted labs depend on physical infrastructure and may be unavailable during maintenance or faults. We publish measured times, not guarantees. 7. Your conduct and content 7.1 Course material (text, exercises, lab images, graders, assessments) belongs to Ultiblob or its licensors. You may use it for your own learning. You may not copy it for others, sell it, scrape it, or publish assessment questions and answers. 7.2 Where a course asks you to write code or documents, they are yours. You grant Ultiblob the right to store and inspect them to grade your work and to run the service. 7.3 Do not attempt to bypass grading, access other learners' data, or probe the platform itself. Report security problems to support@ultiblob.com. 8. Privacy 8.1 We process your account details, your progress, your lab sessions and your purchases to run the service, as described in the Ultiblob privacy notice at www.ultiblob.com/privacy. Lab machines are destroyed with their contents; we keep records of lab sessions (when, how long, which course) for operations and billing. 8.2 We send you service email: purchase receipts, lab-ready notices, access-ending notices and security notices. We do not sell your details. 9. Changes, suspension, ending 9.1 We may change these terms for future purchases. Each version is numbered and dated and stays readable at lab.ultiblob.com/terms/learning?version=N. The version you accepted applies to your purchase. 9.2 We may suspend or end your access for breach of these terms, with a refund only where section 4 says so. 9.3 You may close your account at any time by writing to support@ultiblob.com. Closing the account ends access; it does not by itself create a refund right. 10. Liability 10.1 To the extent the law allows, Ultiblob's total liability to you for anything arising from Ultiblob Learning is limited to the amount you paid for the path concerned in the 12 months before the claim. 10.2 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. 11. Governing law and disputes 11.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you other rights that cannot be taken away. 12.
